Understanding
crossbite.

A crossbite happens when an upper tooth or group of teeth bites inside the lower teeth. It may involve front teeth, back teeth, or both sides of the mouth.

An examination identifies the exact teeth involved and whether the issue relates to tooth positions, jaw width, or another factor. That distinction guides treatment choices.

  1. 01

Is the crossbite at the front, the back, or both?

Is it on one side or both?

  3. 03

Is jaw growth or arch width part of the concern?
